University Student Government President Julius Paul Juen is off for a 24-day international camp in Takato, Nagano, Japan on July 24- August 16, 2010.
The confirmation of the senior BS Biology student’s participation to the Pacific Rim International Camp in Japan was declared by NPO Pacific Rim International Student Camp Chair Takao Akiyama in a letter addressed to Juen.
Juen will be one of the staff and facilitators from the Philippines and the rest of the Pacific region to join the said camp.
PRIC is a scholarship camp program that provides a forum of international exchange at a personal level for youths of the Pacific Region.
Furthermore, the camp is supported by corporate and individual contributions, and composed of NPO Pacific Rim International Student Camp and its volunteer staff.
The partnership of NPO PRISC and the volunteer staff create an ideal summer outing and educational experience for delegates coming from eleven countries and one region around the Pacific Ocean : Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States of America.
Juen expressed his pride and joy to represent the University and the country as one of the three delegates of the Philippines in the prestigious camp.
