USLS to recognize Bantay Bata

The USLS Board of Trustees is to confer the Signum Lasallianum Award to Bantay Bata 163 Negros during the Graduation Rites of the Graduate School of Management on May 22.

Bantay Bata through its community outreach, advocacy programs, and efforts in helping the youth at risk has earned the institutional award.

The Negros chapter of Bantay Bata has responded to more than 800 child abuse cases in the province, organized more than a hundred outreach activities serving 15,000 beneficiaries, and in coordination with ABS-CBN Bacolod, organized Sagip Kapamilya relief operations for victims of calamities and life threatening situations.

The Signum Lasallianum award is an institutional award given to individuals, alumni and or non- alumni, or institutions in recognition of their exemplary contribution to Philippine education and or the Lasallian mission.
