AB Communication students who excelled this academic year were given recognition in the Bilib Awards 2015 at Ikthus Bacolod on March 14.

This year’s theme, Tales Untold: The Royal Bash features the roles of the students not only as communicators but as story tellers and was organized by the Events Management class under Professor Benjamin Torre.

In addition to the student awards, this year’s Bilib Awards also recognized the various media outlets, institutions and individuals whom the communication students look up to.

Sophomore student Rex Theodore Villamor and senior student Marie Therese Lopez from the seniors were named Mr and Ms Bilib in an impromptu pageant twist.

The AB Communication screening Top 10 were also awarded.

The event also featured production numbers from the four year levels.

The freshmen’s theme was the Chiefs of the Golden City, the sophomores performed as the Courts of the West, the third year are from the Clans of the Orient and seniors were the Lords of the Deserts.
