Two members of the University of St. La Salle Integrated School Faculty brought Lasallian Excellence overseas. Explorer Scout Moderator Jireh Parpa and Jigger Leonor, MAEd, PhD have showcased Lasallian Zeal of Excellence abroad.

“It’s a great experience and even better because you earn fellowship from scouts all over the world.” said Parpa on the Jamboree that was participated by 150 countries. Among the 28,000 participants of the World Jamboree 2015 in Kirarahama, Yamaguchi, Japan on July 28 to August 8, 2015, Parpa is part of the International Service Team that is in charge of ceremonies.

“I want to inspire not only students but teachers as well.” said the Br. Martin scholar. On the other hand, “Assessment of Conceptual Understanding in Science”, a paper by Jigger Leonor from the University of St. La Salle Integrated School Faculty, has been published in an eBook by Brown Walker Press in Florida, USA. The paper was presented on the 3rd Dubai International Conference in Higher Education on February 1-3, 2015 at Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The conference was under the Michigan State University in Dubai.
