Learning Resource Center Enhanced Online Services

The Learning Resource Center had enhanced its online services since the start of COVID 19 pandemic. With the challenges brought by limited library hours and services, the LRC launched its Facebook page “USLS-LRC” wherein clients most especially students who are more inclined in social media could send inquiries, requests and ask for assistance from our library staff.
This is in addition to the existing online book request and renewal done through the library system (TLC) and Email for those without a TLC account. Hence, clients are encouraged to request for a TLC account to be able to personally manage their transactions and borrowed materials.
Furthermore, links of our online resources such as EBSCOHost, Proquest, OVIDMd and Taylor & Francis were attached to Canvas for easy and fast access of our students and faculty.
Copy of printed materials are still available through scanning and photo taking upon request. At scheduled hours, the library is still open to cater walk-in clients and allows borrowing of books and other materials subject to our set policy.
LRC commits itself to continue its mission to the community by developing more innovations in order to serve our clients better.
