Smithsonian’s Civil Society Workshops Series

The Civic Society Engagement Program of the U. S. Embassy in partnership with Smithsonian Institute was conducted to engage, inspire and empower Filipino youth on civic activism through a series of workshops on digital photography, video making and social media journalism. This was participated by 31 Communication Students with Ms. Hannah Mariveles as the facilitator.  Resource persons were invited to give talks on the workshops. The participants presented their advocacy campaign on different civic society issues applying what they learned from the workshops as a culminating activity of the program held last January 10, 2018 at the American Corner.
