Bonfire Night for USLS Bar Passers
A Bonfire Night was held for the 12 Bar passers of University of St. La Salle College of Law last May 19 at the USLS football field.
The event was organized by the Student Council of the College headed by Kristel Ann Develos and co-chaired by Former Dean Atty. Raymundo Pandan, Jr., Atty. Alexander Mirano, and Atty. Jul Davi Saez.
A motorcade started the ball rolling and was followed by the bonfire proper.
Atty. Pandan, Jr. welcomed Law students, friends, bar passers, faculty and staff, and alumni with his opening remarks.
The Dean for College of Law, Atty. Rosanne Juliana Gonzaga was not able to attend the said event but her presence and support was still felt during her video message.
The Bar passers, Jamie F. Bentinganan, Gabriela S. Daguman, Eduard Dorsey P. Caratao, Jaenise Rae A. De la Paz, Daniel R. Del Rosario, Hazelmer S. Fernandez, Maria Reylan M. Garcia, Mark Lester A. Reyes, Dennis E. Salem, and Katrina Z. Tan were called on stage to be recognized and given their congratulatory tokens.
2017 Bar Examinations top 1, Mark John H. Simondo was then introduced to the audience.
This was followed by the recognition of the Pioneer Batch, Faculty, and different batches.
A fireworks display ended the eventful night.
The 12 Bar passers are set to take their oath on June 1, 2018.
