CEd Faculty Elected to Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators Region VI Board of Directors
A faculty member of the College of Education, June Carl Seran, has been elected to serve on the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) Inc. as one of the Region VI Board of Directors for A.Y. 2024-2026.
With Seran’s election, he is poised to further his commitment to advancing the teaching profession in the region.
PAFTE has been a driving force for improvement in teacher education in the Philippines.
Part of the association’s thrust is to advocate for change, identify strong institutions for teacher development, and provide input on curriculum and teacher licensure exams.
PAFTE has received government support and recognition for its contributions to the quality of teachers in the Philippines.
The University congratulates Seran on this milestone and wishes him the best of luck as he ventures into this role.
