Donny Pangilinan at USLS for Called To Rescue PH’s ESKAPE advocacy tour

The University of St. La Salle hosted "ESKAPE with Called To Rescue PH" advocacy tour, featuring celebrity actor Donny Pangilinan, on June 26 at Santuario De La Salle.

Attended by the Lasallian community, University administrators, student leaders, and invited guests from other schools, the event highlighted Called To Rescue PH’s efforts against human trafficking.

Called To Rescue PH, a local branch of an international group, focuses on rescuing individuals from trafficking, violence, and abuse through awareness, counseling, therapy, and legal support.

Donny Pangilinan shared his involvement with Called To Rescue PH and expressed appreciation for Bahay Pag-Asa and USLS. He and other speakers participated in a Q&A session on the Netflix film GG (Good Game), the group's initiatives, and broader social issues.

USLS President Br. Joaquin Severino Martinez FSC highlighted Bahay Pag-Asa’s historical significance and the University’s commitment to advocacies fostering hope through partnerships.

Meanwhile, Called To Rescue PH President Anthony Pangilinan emphasized the importance of leadership, relationships, and community support in combating human trafficking. Faye De Guzman, an executive of the group, presented "Being The Voice," addressing human trafficking in the Philippines and the need for community involvement.

The event reinforced the University’s commitment to raising awareness and supporting survivors of trafficking and abuse.

The ESKAPE Tour at USLS was held in collaboration with Media Works, Betelgeuse Media Inc., Moquest Ventures, Called To Rescue PH, and the University of St. La Salle.
