First Woman Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard Aviation Force
In 2009, a Bacolodnon and La Sallian alumna CAPT. CHRISTINE PAULINE BERGAÑO- DICIANO of USLS College Class 2001 made history as the first female pilot of the Philippine Coast Guard. Once again, last 12 April 2022 we are making another history when she assumed the duties and responsibilities as the new Commander of the Coast Guard Aviation Force (CGAF). The first female and youngest officer to Command an Aviation Force among all military and law enforcement services in the country.
