The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA) would like to inform you that the USLS Higher Education on-site face-to-face classes on May 08, 2023 will continue as scheduled.
The decision was made since the planned transport strike on Monday will not be participated by all the major jeepney federations in Negros based on the latest news. Moreover, around 500 modernized jeepneys will be operating in Bacolod City according to the Bacolod City Administrator. Furthermore, the HEU is left with only three (3) weeks of classes before the scheduled end term or final exams.
However, flexibility in the learning modality and utmost consideration must be extended to the students who do not have the means to travel from their location to the learning venue/s.
Students concerned are expected to communicate directly with their professors, using all communication means made available, should their condition prevent them from joining the on-site classes.
