USLS eyes partnership agreements, collaborations with other HEIs

The University of St. La Salle is eyeing to forge partnership agreements with other higher education institutions in the country after concluding a series of learning visits last Dec. 5-7.

The learning visits were conducted at University of the Philippines- Los Baños, De La Salle University - Laguna and De La Salle University - Dasmariñas with the aim of exploring research collaborations and get insights for the continuous improvement of the University’s core services in teaching and learning, research and publication, creative works and innovation, and community engagement.

The learning visits started at UPLB on Dec. 5 with a courtesy call with UPLB Chancellor Jose V. Camacho, Jr.

A meaningful discussion and exploratory talk about possible tripartite collaboration with Tokyo Metropolitan University and UPLB’s College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology also took place. 

Meanwhile, USLS also conducted separate learning visits and Graduate School benchmarking at De La Salle University- Laguna and De La Salle University- Dasmariñas on Dec. 6-7.

The USLS Learning Team was received by Br. Sockie de La Rosa, Dr. Marco Suavillo Saez, and Mr. Christian George Francisco. 

Joining the USLS Learning Visit Team were Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Annabelle C. Balor, AVCRE Dr. Romeo G. Teruel, Graduate School Dean Dr. Janice Bolen, and Dr. Joval N. Martinez and Mr. Robert Desusa from the Center for Research and Engagement.
