USLS signs MOA with SEC for internship programs
A memorandum of agreement that will open internship opportunities for students of the YAL- College of Business and Accountancy was signed between the University through the Career Development Centre and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) last Sept. 23.
According to the signed MOA, students from the Accountancy, Accounting Information System, Management Accounting and Business Administration Major in Operations Management courses are invited to participate in an internship program to ensure the development of their experience in preparation for their future career as well as to assist the industry partner in their job placement efforts.
The MOA was signed by Dr. Annabelle C. Balor, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; Ms. Kathlyn P. Tiu, MBA, Internship Coordinator of the CAS and CBA; Atty. Annabelle F. Corral-Respall, Director II of SEC Bacolod Extension Office; Samantha M. Drilon, CPA, MBA, Securities Specialist II.
